This 1960 Lark VIII is owned by Lesley and Ralph Stambaugh

The Lark Regal VIII features a 259 cu. in. V-8, with an automatic transmission.   It listed new for $2,208 dollars (base price) and weighed 3,033 pounds.   4,565 Regal Hardtop's were produced according to the Classic Car Database.

The Lark was a pioneering "compact car" design, introduced as a 59 model in the fall of 1958 and produced until 1962 in South Bend.   Initial models included two-door and four-door sedans, a two-door hardtop coupe and a two-door station wagon.   In 1960, a convertible (Studebaker's first since 1952) and a four-door station wagon were added to the lineup.   The Lark and its descendants were also built in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where production continued until 1966.

Two series of Larks were available, the Lark VI and the Lark VIII, both designations indicated engine type, Six, an L-head (flat head) 170 cu in (2.8 L) or V-8, 259 cu in (4.2 L) .   A V-8 Lark could turn out a 0 to 60 mph time of around 10 seconds.  Both series were available in "Deluxe" and "Regal" trim levels.  The Convertible and Hardtop's were only available in Regal trim.



This 1992 Cadillac Allante Convertible is owned by Ed and Sharon Stevens.  The Cadillac Allantéis a two-door, two-seater luxury roadsterproduced by Cadillac from 1987 until 1993.  It used a Cadillac chassis and running gear with a body built in Italy by coach builder Pininfarina.   It was expensive to produce with the complete bodies flown from Italy to Detroit for final assembly.

Exterior Color: 47U – Euro Red, this color was found on 549 1992 models.

Interior Color: Charcoal Grey, this color was found on 859 1992 models.

Seats: 10-Way Recaro, 1992 would be the last year for this seating design.
